Elections are scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Main Tribal Center Administration offices.
Positions up for elections:
- Vice-Chairman (currently held by Chris Tom)
- Council I (currently held by Renee Veregge)
- Council IV (currently held by Kyle Carpenter)
Notices of Intent to Run for Council positions are due by Friday, June 7, 2024. Download the form below or obtain a copy from the Front Desk at the Tribal Center. Please fill it out completely and return it to the Enrollment Clerk or the Front Desk by 4:30 pm on June 7.
Letters of Intent for those running for one of the open positions are advised, but not required. Letters can be submitted to the Front Desk or by email to enrollment@pgst.nsn.us. Letters will be printed in the weekly memo, on the PGST website, and linked on Facebook. Letters of Intent must be received no later than June 21 in order to be printed in the election issue of Syecem.
If you would like information about receiving an Absentee Ballot, please contact the Enrollment Clerk at (360) 297-6217. The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot for the upcoming election is July 1, 2024.
