Executive Boards and Committees help to manage, advise, and support various programs, departments, and efforts that exist to serve Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal members and their families.
Baseball Field Committee
Guides decision-making related to the use and management of the reservation’s baseball field
Child Protection Team
Makes recommendations on the management and/or resolution of open Indian Child Welfare cases
Children & Family Services Committee
Advises program staff on matters of concern and related to the community’s children and families
Cultural Committee
Advises staff and Tribal Council on matters related to cultural practice and preservation
Early Childhood Policy Council
Advises staff and Tribal Council on matters related to Early Childhood policy development and program management
Education Committee
Advises staff and Tribal Council on matters related to education
Elders Advisory Committee
Advises program staff on matters of concern and related to the Elder community
Election Committee
Administers all Tribal elections and referendums
Enrollment Committee
Researches enrollment applications, maintains Tribal rolls, and advises Tribal Council and General Council on issues related to enrollment
Fish Committee
Advises staff and Tribal Council on issues related to fisheries
Foundation Board
Provides policy direction and budget management for the Port Gamble S’Klallam Foundation
Health Advisory Committee
Advises staff and Tribal Council on policy development and program management related to health services for community members
Housing Board
Manages the affairs of the Housing Authority
Hunting Committee
Advises Tribal Council on hunting code provisions and makes recommendations on hunting regulations
Investment Committee
Monitors and advises on the managment of funds and other investment options.
Law and Order Committee
Serves as the voice of the community to review proposed law changes before they are presented to Tribal Council
Lot Advisory Committee
Advises Tribal Council on issues related to lot assignments
Nookayet Board
Guides decision-making for all Tribal enterprises
Tribal Gaming Agency Board
Regulates gaming within the jurisdiction of the Tribe
Utility Committee
Manages the water and sewer utilities of the Tribe
