Tribal Administration
Kelly Sullivan
Executive Director
Kelly Sullivan is an enrolled member of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe and serves as the Tribe’s Executive Director. She was born and raised in her tribal community and continues to raise her three sons there today.
Kelly’s experience includes as three-term elected representative on the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Council. She was hired in her current position in 2012. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and has worked for her tribe for over 20 years with a focus on community health and wellness.
Kelly and her family love spending their free time outdoors in the woods and on the water. She is a Coast Salish wool weaver and a puller on the tribe’s traditional canoes.
Destiny Oliver
Administrative Director of Tribal Services
Destiny Oliver is the Administrative Director of Tribal Services. This position oversees the departments within the tribe that provide programs and services to tribal members. Earlier in her career, Destiny served as the Executive Assistant to Tribal Council, learning all about tribal governance and the issues tribes face in protecting resources and expanding economic opportunities.
Destiny is a tribal member who grew up on the reservation in a big extended family. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and credits this degree—as well as her college experience in general—for setting her up for success in serving the Tribe and its families, while helping the Tribe’s various departments plan for growth.
Destiny is married with three children and takes pride in not only providing a home for foster children in need, but working actively to keep families engaged and help reunite kids with their parents.
Tamara Gage
Administrative Director for Governmental Services
Tamara Gage is the Administrative Director for Governmental Services. In this position, she oversees all departments responsible infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support. Tamara’s experience with the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe spans more than 20 years, including previous management positions with the Natural Resources department.
Tamara grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan. The call of the sea brought her to the University of Washington where she earned her Master’s degree from the School of Fisheries at the University of Washington. In her previous role with Natural Resources, she grew the Tribe’s shellfish program, negotiated fisheries with the State and other Tribes; and defended the Tribe’s treaty rights. These experiences helped prepare her for her current administrative role.
Tamara lives in Poulsbo with her three sons and husband along with a dog and three cats. On the weekends, the family relishes the quiet of their secluded home where they can watch the local wildlife pass through the yard. She enjoys rockhounding with her kids or going the beach to satisfy her inner mermaid.
