ADVISORY COMMITTEES OPEN POSITIONS
Tribal Council is seeking interested tribal members to serve on the following Advisory Committees:
Enrollment/Election Committee (2 positions, appointments will serve both Committees)
- These positions will be appointed in October 2024 and expire in October 2028 (4-year term).
- Enrollment Committee members are typically appointed to serve on the Election Committee.
- Committee members meet once a month and receive a $100 stipend for each meeting attended.
The Enrollment Committee assists the Enrollment Clerk in researching enrollment applications and family trees, preserves confidentiality, makes recommendations to the Tribal Council and General Council on applications, and maintains the tribal roll. They ensure that these actions are compliant with the Port Gamble S’Klallam Constitution and Title 25.
Election Committee members maintain registration cards, organize and hold the Tribal Council Elections each year, count the election ballots and certify the election results at the end of each election.
