Tribal Journey 2026

Landing Day: July 26, 2026
  • Canoes will land at Point Julia
  • Landing time is dependent on the tide
Beach (Point Julia)
  • The road to the beach will be closed to all traffic, and only permitted vehicles will be allowed
  • There will be a clam bake held during landing and hotdogs available for puller, volunteers,and support boats
  • The boat ramp will be closed to every except: canoes, support boats, and Natural Resources Enforcement
  • Shuttle will only pick up at designated stops
  • There is a “use at your own risk” walking trail, up a steep hill from the beach up to the Tribal Campus. The trail closes at 8pm.

 

Camping
  • Campgrounds are Ravenswood and Warrior Ridge and few private homes.
  • Campfires Are Not Permiited
  • Camp areas open on July 26 at 9:am

  • Camp areas close on July 28th at 11:am

  • Port potty’s and showers share these same hours.

Dinner and Protocol
  • Dinner will be served at the Tribal Campus at 5pm
  • There will be a whit board to sign up for protocol in the Longhouse
  • The Longhouse doors will close at 11pm, due to early tides the next morning
Shuttles, Traffic, and Parking

Shuttles

  • There will be designated Elders’ Only shuttles
  • Shuttle service will end at 11:30pm

 

Traffic

  • Traffic on campus will be directed as “One Way” in a clockwise direction with the entrance at the Early Childhood side. The exit will be at the youth center side.
  • One Way traffic in the counterclockwise direction around the baseball field.

 

Parking

  • Volunteers and staff will park at the casino parking lot and use the shuttles.
  • Elder Parking is the clinic parking lot.
  • Navy Volunteers will be issued one beach permit to manage their volunteers back and forth to the beach. They are also encouraged to use the shuttles to attend the entire event.
  • Parking on the south side of the tribal center is open.
  • Canoe trailer parking will be on the north side of the baseball field.  Overflow trailer parking TBD
  • Vendor parking will the east side of the baseball field.
  • Vendors: Check in will be at the Library driveway.

Vendor registration is now open—be sure to apply by July 17, 2026 to secure your spot!
