As cost-of-living increases impact many of our community’s families, Tribal Council has approved a payment of $2,000 for every enrolled PGST member aged 18 and older. It is hoped that—especially as the holidays approach—this payment will help ease financial worries this winter.

Applications for the Basic Needs Support (BNS) payment will be accepted starting Monday, November 20, 2023. Download an application or pick up a printed copy from the Front Desk starting Monday, November 20.

The deadline for submission is Monday, January 29, 2024 at 4:30 pm. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Applications received after the deadline will not be processed.

To qualify, an enrolled PGST member must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application submission. Applications must be completed in full or will not be processed.

Completed applications can be returned in one of two ways:

  • Emailed to vouchers@pgst.nsn.us OR
  • Dropped off to the black box by the side door of the Community Services Building

Applications turned into staff, at the Front Desk, sent via social media, or returned in any other way than the two options above cannot be processed for payment.

Payment will be issued based on when the completed application is received per the chart below. Check distribution dates are subject to change due to inclement weather or other emergencies.

Print checks will be available for those who DO NOT have direct deposit already set up with Accounting. Checks that are not picked up from Accounting by the Tuesday after availability will be sent to the address on file with Enrollment.

Staff will not be able to confirm whether an application was received. Please reach out if payment is not available as scheduled.
