The Port Gamble S’Klallam Housing Authority is seeking to fill a position on the Board of Commissioners.
The appointment is until February 2028.
Duties include: attend monthly meetings (2.5 to 4 hours), review financial statements, review and approve policies, provide guidance to the Housing Authority Executive Director on future developments, set strategic goals for Housing, hear tenant appeals, and attend trainings related to Housing. Must be willing and able to understand the Native American Housing and Self-Determination Act, financial statements, federal regulations and HUD, does require occasional travel. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month beginning at 12:00 p.m.
