PGST is hosting an Energy 101 workshop on Friday, December 13 from 9 am to 4 pm in the Health Center Conference Room. This class is limited to 15 attendees.
The Energy 101 workshop will provide an overview of fundamental topics related to solar and renewable energy sources, including PV system types and applications, and components needed in a solar electric system. Attendees will learn the basic terminology of electricity as it applies to solar electric systems and will have the opportunity to work with demonstration equipment.
This introductory training is open to all PGST staff and community members aged 18 and older. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary–only a desire to learn is required. Staff should clear their attendance with their supervisor.
This Energy 101 training is free. Coffee, snacks, and lunch are provided.

This training is a part of PGST’s efforts to pursue energy resilience and sovereignty.
