Effective June 3, 2024, The Point Casino & Hotel will no longer accept or be able to cash third-party checks. This includes all checks issued by PGST and fish buyers.
This change is being made to streamline accounting practices, narrow the inherent risks of check cashing, and protect the Tribe’s business from potential losses as the Casino’s check cashing service is unable to verify third-party checks.
The Point Casino & Hotel will continue to accept personal checks drawn on an account holder’s personal account.
PGST Community members who have utilized The Point for check cashing are encouraged to use a bank for this service. There are several options for banking locally that offer locations across the county and mobile banking. Opening an account requires a picture ID and basic personal information such as your address, phone number, email, and Social Security number.
Also starting on June 3, The Point Casino will launch all-in-one ATM and Ticket Redemption Kiosks on the casino floor. Enrollment required. Details below.
