It is with the deepest regret and sorrow that we must announce the passing of Our Chairman Jeromy Sullivan after a short illness. He was 50.

For the past few weeks, Jeromy had been hospitalized and was undergoing treatment. While he had been slowly improving, unfortunately, his condition deteriorated quickly over the last couple of days. On Friday night, he passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Jeromy is the son of Dianna Purser and Melvin (Poe) Sullivan. He is also survived by his wife, Toni; their two children, Samantha and Jacob; and his brothers, Chad and Corey. Passed on before him are his grandparents: Aaron Purser, Geraldine Heimann, and Frank and Cyrene (Dolly) Sullivan.

His family appreciates everyone who visited Jeromy and sent their thoughts and prayers for his recovery. We ask that you please remain respectful of their privacy and needs during this difficult time.

Information on services will be made available as soon as possible.

Tribal offices will be closed on Monday, July 3 as we mourn the passing of our beloved Chairman, community member, and friend.

Please take care of yourselves. As is our community’s way, we will get through this together.

Thank you,

Chris Tom, Vice-Chair
