The 2025 Changing Currents Tribal Youth Water Summit & Journeys in Creativity Pre-College Residency will take place at The Evergreen State College from August 10-16, 2025 for youth ages 16-19. This event will empower Indigenous youth by providing them with professional development tools and opportunities to amplify their voices on tribal water issues. By fostering creativity and leadership, this youth event will support the next generation of Indigenous leaders in advocating for the health and sustainability of their communities’ water resources. The Summit is also looking for volunteer chaperones, ages 21+. Chaperones must be at least 21 years old and will be required to complete a background check. Ideal candidates have experience working with Native youth, a passion for environmental stewardship, and a commitment to uplifting Indigenous leadership.
