Only three more weeks until the Elders trip to Las Vegas, and here are the latest updates:
- We leave on September 11, Alaska flight 676, leaving Seattle at 11:20AM and arriving in Las Vegas at 1:57PM
- If you are driving to the airport yourselves can you please let Cheryl Miller know, cmiller@pgst.nsn.us by August 25, 2023. Please remember you will not be reimbursed for mileage, gas or parking.
- If you need a ride from the Tribal Center to the airport, please let Cheryl Miller know, cmiller@pgst.nsn.us by August 25, 2023.
- For the folks who need a ride to the airport, we will depart from the tribal center at 6:45AM, if you are being dropped off at the tribal center please be there by 6:30am.
- For the folks who need a ride from their home on the reservation, please let Cheryl Miller know, cmiller@pgst.nsn.us, and arrangements will be made to pick you up. Please let Cheryl know by August 25, 2023.
- For the people not flying, but driving to the Vegas, your rooms are reserved for our arrival date at the Golden Nugget and are under your names, you can check in if you arrive before us and the rooms are ready, please call Cheryl Miller with any questions.
- We have arranged for wheelchairs for the folks that have requested them, for the airports in Seattle and in Las Vegas.
- There are scooter rentals available in Las Vegas, and should be reserved in advance, the cost of a scooter rental will be the renters responsibility, the tribe will not be covering the cost. This information follow below.
- On September 13th Tribal Council members will be having a meeting with the elders in a reserved room at the Golden Nugget, at the Pebble Beach 1 room, from 10-12, please plan on attending to have a conservation with tribal council.
- Also on September 13, we have tickets to see KA by Cirque de Solei 7pm show at the MGM Grand. We have arranged for a bus to the show that will pick us up at 5:30pm at the Golden Nugget and transport us to the show at the MGM Grand. The bus will return at 9:30pm to bring us back to the Golden Nugget. Your show tickets will be passed out to you on the bus to the show.
- All per diem and deposit refunds will be given out the day of the trip.
- We will return from Las Vegas on September 15, 2023, Alaska Flight 618, leaving Las Vegas at 2:55pm, arriving Seattle at 5:36pm, vans will be at the airport to transport everyone home unless you drove yourself or have made other arrangements.
