The alder pile from the pedestrian safety sidewalk project is now open to elders and/or their designated harvesters! The wood piles are located in the old sewer drain field near Ravenwood.
For the first week, this pile is limited to elder households.  There will be a brief closure for heavy equipment to have access within the next week. A small yellow sign at the road entrance to the pile will state whether the pile is open/closed and if it’s open to elders or the whole community.
Please respect open and closed dates for both the safety of woodcutters as well as workers needing access to the area.
Please call Nikki at 360-865-2678 if you have any questions or would like to volunteer to harvest wood for any PGST community elders.
Just a reminder, wood cutting permits are NOT REQUIRED for this pile.
