Youth Services provides comprehensive programming for all Port Gamble S’Klallam community youth, guiding them to become healthy adults who make a positive contribution to the community. Youth Services provides a variety of opportunities to community youth, emphasizing S’Klallam culture and traditions, healthy lifestyles, positive decision-making, mentorship, and life skills that build leadership.
Youth Services Strategic Plan goals include initiatives to increase:
- Youth participation in cultural activities
- Positive relationships between youth and adults
- Youth and Elder relationships and interactions
- Opportunities for youth to gain work experience
- Opportunities for youth to give back to the community
- Opportunities that allow youth to plan for their futures

Calling all Youth! Hands on Cultural Experience Opportunity next week!
Sign up for 6th-12th graders for the Camas Bake next week, Wednesday, 5/7 to Saturday, 5/10 on Whidbey Island. Please be aware that we will be outside most of each day working in the field. Youth will be staying with Erica and Karleigh in a rented house and Joe and Culture team will also be nearby.
This is always a fun & rewarding learning experience for everyone in involved. If you have any questions, please get ahold of Karleigh Gomez.
