Seeking Education Committee (3 positions)
The Education Committee is one of the Tribe’s advisory committees. Its role is to advise Tribal staff and Tribal Council on educational matters — including programs, policies, and education-related concerns for Tribal members of all ages.
The Tribe’s Career & Education Department supports services like employment assistance and support, youth and adult education, academic assistance, and connections with schools in the surrounding area.
The Education Committee helps ensure that educational goals of the Tribe, including cultural preservation, student support, and post-secondary opportunities — remain connected to community needs and tribal values. The committee meets monthly, with a $100 stipend. Terms are 4 years.
Tribal Council values the input given by these advisory groups (see attached policy and letter of interest form). If you are interested, please fill out the Letter of Interest form attached and turn it in, or email it back to savannahs@pgst.nsn.us by December 23rd 2025.
